Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the satisfaction of end-users in terms of Surface software availability, system integrity and performance.
- Ensures proper functioning and availability of applications across the organization and contributes to maintain technical expertise with regards to applications.
- Assist in defining Surface requirements in terms of applications, guide towards best fit solution and accompany in implementing solution.
- Ensure the availability of information systems and applications infrastructure to satisfy business needs.
- Anticipates and plans the resources evolutions to meet the client needs/ technologies evolutions.
- Ensuring HSE and IS Security requirements are considered when designing and implementing applications.
- Working in a manner that is compliant with HSE regulations.
- Providing IS business analysis & consultancy services to Business Units; and provide services to customers in a manner that will meet set targets of cost, time, quality & performance.
- Acts as single point of contact for Surface applications ensuring that the roadmap for system evolution and the necessary support and maintenance agreements are in place.
- Actively manage the Surface application portfolio ensuring the correct licensing is in place.
- Review change/enhancements requests to ensure there is a business justification and that they are cost effective and technically sound.
- Understands and observes the company HSE policies, rules, and procedures; and ensures participation to HSE organized activities.
- Take responsibility for Surface related projects throughout the year, handling the functional analysis as well as the technical implementation (coordinating resources from other IS Teams), ensuring implementation on time, budget, and benefits to the business.
- Analyze and define detailed business/ IS Surface requirements to ensure that third party suppliers deliver exactly what is required and that solutions are implemented that will improve efficiency and/or reduce costs.
- Translate between user/business requirements and technical suppliers/colleagues.
- Add value to the business by implementing/developing solutions and/or enhancements that will improve efficiency and/or reduce costs.
- Ensure that system integrity is maintained by following and ensuring compliance with agreed standards and procedures.
- Actively identify best practices and encourage an environment in which this is willing and openly shared.
- Provide IS business analysis, solution design/architecture & consultancy services to customers.
- Aid the IS Business Solutions Coordinator during preparation and management of IS and budget and LT Plan related to the Surface applications and activities studies (by measuring organizational and technological constraints) and contribute to the writing of business cases.
- Ensure availability of Surface applications, system performance and continued optimization in collaboration with the TGITS team.
- Assess coherence and optimize the portfolio of applications projects in relation to the Applications Cartography.
- Regularly check the evolution of EP software portfolio; and proposes ideas relevant to the IS domain.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an Engineering degree in Computer Science/Bachelor of Computer Engineering or related fields
- At least five years of experience in the IS domain with previous experience in Business Applications Support.
- Expert technical knowledge of applications support using ITIL processes and tools; knowledge of database systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Oracle, SQL); Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office packages, Mail Systems, Internet, and Intranet Technology.
- Good organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail, reactiveness, multitasking ability, operating in a multinational environment, team spirit and ability to see the big picture.
- Good leadership, initiation, and communication skills amongst internals & externals stakeholders.
- Strong cohesion with the network and telecommunication team for application access.
- Execution of activities in line with company and government policies
