Job Summary: The Human Resource Supervisor will attract, develop and retain a skilled and motivated employee base that will drive the business to achieve its strategic objectives, while enhancing employee development through performance management and training.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment, retention, disciplinary and separation processes in the company in a manner that is compliant with both internal and external procedures, regulations, and legislation
- Oversee the company’s performance management process
- Manage the optimal staff capacity of the organisation
- Manage the company talent through Implementing the company’s staff retention and succession strategies
- Manage the company’s reward and compensation strategies
- Ensure the employee remain engaged through various innovative channels
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Manage the HRMIS and ensure the automated departmental processes are implemented in the system
- Develop and implement employee wellness strategies for staff
- Manage the talent audit function by managing the job and salary grades through the established job evaluation guidelines
- Ensures proper maintenance of Human resources management records.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s QMS standards
- Ensure the employee engagement survey actions are closed out
- Coordinate monthly interdepartmental meetings with the aim of increasing team satisfaction

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Professional HR Certification
- Three years of experience carrying out HR functions
- Experience working with multicultural teams
- Experience in carrying out disciplinary procedures
- Strong Microsoft Office and G Suite Skills with the ability to learn new tech-based platforms and solutions in depth knowledge of Ugandan Labor law
- Highly detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality
- Customer service and HR skills
- Honest and trustworthy
- possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Flexible
- Fluent English both written and spoken
- Proficiency in other languages spoken in Uganda would be advantageous
