Job Summary: The Agency Training Officer will coordinate
all the logistics for RDP, preparing schedule for RDP incentive payment,
ensuring that payment made on time, reporting on paid incentives, tracking RDP
activations cohort by cohort, stepping in to run RDP when line manager is off
duty among others. Other secondary responsibilities will include assisting with
Pru Academy and new agents on boarding training where necessary
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Coordinate all Logistics for Rookie Development
Programme (RDP)
·
Prepare incentive schedules for RDP and ensure
payment to Rookies & reporting on Incentives
·
Assist in conducting RDP Training
·
Assist in Conducting Pru Academy Training
·
Conduct new Agent on boarding training
·
Assist in conducting Zero Case Writers Sessions
·
Perform any other duties as may be assigned
Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a
Finance Related Field, Education or Human Resources.
·
Possession of a professional qualification in
insurance or in progress towards attaining it
·
At least two years of work experience in the
insurance Industry.
·
Hands-on Practical knowledge of Agent Training
and development
·
Robust insurance sales and marketing experience
and knowledge of Uganda’s Insurance market.
·
Positive attitude and a yearning to learn and
willingness to continuously learn new competencies
·
Impeccably excellent interpersonal and
presentation skills
·
Great Inspirer and Motivator
·
Broad knowledge and understanding of industry
compliance guidelines is desirable
