Job Title:   National Content Assistant (Fresher Jobs)

About US:

COOEC-CPECC Joint Venture consisting of COOEC INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED, and CHINA PETROLEUM ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION (CPECC) UGANDA LIMITED is a CNOOC Uganda Ltd Contractor for Kingfisher Oil Field Development Package-3, and the scope of work includes four well pads production facilities, central processing plant (CPF), Infield Flow Lines, water Intake pump stations, temporary camp, etc.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing relations with local governments, coordination with Ugandan Authorities
• Dealing with community affairs,
• Coordination with news outlets, conducting general publication and advertisement,
• Handling of Public Relations crisis,
• Obtaining certain permits or licenses,
• Certain administrative services,
• Dealing with national/local content works,
• Coordinating the recruitment of unskilled workers from local community,
• Monitoring the compliance with applicable laws including Petroleum act, 2013, Petroleum Regulations National Content 2016 etc, verifying reports from subcontractors, verify reports from other departments within own organization.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor in Public/ International Relations, marketing etc., or Bachelor in Science,
• Two years of experience in Public Relations and National Content Associated works
• Good at relationship building, careful, paying attention to details
• Excel in execution, demonstrated integrity
• Fluency in the Chinese Language is a plus.
