electricity used in the country. The shares of the stock of the company are
listed on the Uganda Securities Exchange and are cross listed on the Nairobi
Stock Exchange.

Job Summary:   The ICT Operations Support Officer will provide
systems monitoring, post-paid bill printing and operational support for
billing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Manage
daily backup logs.

·       
Monitor
daily server activity and escalate any issues accordingly.

·       
Support
the end-to-end manual reading process, including readings uploads and exception
resolution.

·       
Execute
batch programs and housekeeping routines.

·       
Provide
timely printing of invoices, statements and reports.

·       
Perform
Helpdesk support tasks as directed.

·       
Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal applicant for the Umeme ICT Operations Support Officer job must hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science

At least
two years of work experience in an IT environment

·

and Integrity

to detail

·       
Customer-centric

·       
Flexible
working hours and willingness to work shifts
