About US:
Makerere University Joint AIDS Program (MJAP) is a private-not-for profit Company under Makerere University. MJAP works to build partnerships and strengthen health systems to optimally respond to HIV/AIDS, TB, Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and other diseases of public health importance in Africa.
Job Summary: To lead and Initiate, develop, review and monitor the implementation of human resource management and organizational development policies, strategies, systems, processes and procedures in line with the organization’s strategic plan and the national labor laws.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, or MBA/MPA (HR), or Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
- A CIPD certification will be added advantage.
- At least eight Years’ and above of working experience in a reputable organization preferably, an NGO donor funded program at a Senior HR management level.
- At least five years’ experience in a senior Human Resource Management position, and in Human Resource strategic planning.
- A member of the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda, (HRMAU).
