Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service and equipment associated NPT reduction plan (per rig/year)
- Number of QAQC visit report (per rig/year)
- Number of NCR and OFI and percentage of action closure.
- Number of audit API Q2 performed and performance progress of API Q2 implementation amongst the service company.
- Ensure that equipment always have valid certification and preparation.
- Reduction of improper equipment send to the rig and of rejected material sites.
- The Senior Stock Control Engineer objective is to assist and support the Services Companies on the Drilling Support Base to establish a robust QA-QC management system that aim at eliminating the NPT related to equipment failure. He / She provides QAQC support to the Drilling & Wells service contracts Technical Administrators to ensure the following:
- Update a Service Quality Plan (SQP) as per the API Q2 or similar standard and as per the service criticality requirement.
- Following an API Q2 audit plan for all the service contracts. (Schedule, objectives).
- Following an inspection reporting system.
- Following an action tracking database (IQ-ALL) and follow up management system (Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Opportunities for Improvement (OFI)…).
- Provide support and expertise for service/equipment failure investigation (Troubleshooting, Cause Tree Analysis…).
- Perform Quality Audits to vendors and drilling contractors to assess the status and expectations of them.
- Conduct a spot check of the drill string components and document review on previously qualified (inspected) equipment prior starting drilling activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent in professional experience)
- At least 10 years working experience on Oil and Gas.
- A least seven years of Drilling and Wells QAQC experience (OCTG, Equipment procurement, Service contract QAQC)
- Adequate knowledge of general drilling equipment (mainly tubulars and associated) but also completion and Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP).
- Lead Auditor certification in either ISO9001/APIQ1 or APIQ2
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Knowledge of Company standards (QCP) and tools (IQ-All).
