Job Summary: The Treasury & Credit Manager will mainly manage and coordinate the Treasury and Credit Portfolio in the Finance Function of Vivo Energy Uganda Limited.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Company Facilities with the Banks are properly maintained and documented
- Monitor Bank Balances to ensure optimum interest exposure
- Calculate, verify and challenge Interest Costs charged by the Bank and ensure correct booking in the System
- Credit Risk Assessment and Reviews of existing, new, and potential customers, and proper reflection thereof in ERP
- Ensure verification, validity, maintenance, and safeguarding of customer securities
- Support the Business with the formulation and application of Credit Policies
- Organize, review and present credit reports to the Local Credit Committee
- Act as the Focal Point for all Insurance Matters for the Group
- Ensure that all assets, eligible for insurance are covered, either through the Central Insurance Policy or Local Insurance Policy
- Negotiate and implement favorable terms on the Bank Facilities and as may be required by Local or Group Management
- Report and attend the Regional/Central Credit Committee
- Report back to Local Credit Committee of agreed action from Regional/Central Credit Committee
- Liaise with the Administrator and Custodian of the Fund on routine and non-routine activities
- Check and advise on the Interest Calculation for the Pension Fund Members
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sales or related field
- Two years of experience in card administration
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good analytical statistics and analytical skills
