Job Summary:  Conduct day to day warehouse operational activities, as per correct operational standard procedures providing support to the operational activities and ensuring that all work requirements are correctly recorded to match physical transactions. Provides support to Area WnD Manager Supervisor and other members of the WND team at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily trucks/ containers inbound activities at the warehouse.
  • Instruct and follow up to ensure warehouse labour force handle cargoes as per Internal Operation Procedure (IOP) and Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of each client which are provided by Supply Chain Management (SCM/Area WnD Teams) teams.
  • Communicate with Maersk SCM/ Area WnD Teams and factories to resolve all incidents at times of or after receiving in a quick manner for all vendors.
  • Follow up and update weekly forecast, communicate with SCM/ Area WnD Teams to balance the throughput per day during the peak week. Proactively cooperate with SCM/AREA WND TEAMS team/Area WnD teams for plan of peak weeks.
  • Cooperate with SCM/Area WnD teams to clarify and confirm all daily and weekly charges (OT report, Late coming, Sorting/invoicing).
  • Coordinate with customers on approved dispatches of their cargo.
  • Check container loading plan preparation through comparing data in the systems
  • Prepare loading plan with the outbound system and necessary things related to the loading process
  • Follow up and coordination with trucking and/or the carrier for empty container readiness, carrier seal, non-compliance container, not proper empty container to be shipped issue and traffic condition.
  • Make sure the carrier seal and buyer seal match with the EIR (Equipment Inspection Report) from the carrier or container yard
  • Follow up non-compliance cargo (incident report) to receiving team and/or SCM/ Area WnD teams to get certainty cargoes to be loaded.
  • Coordination with the floor operation team to the loading process and make stuffing priority list referring to the closing time port/clients’ destinations.
  • Make sure that the container loading plans match with the client requirement for each consignee/client and inform operation floor team for any special request to avoid additional claim and/or complain.
  • Inform the SCM/ Area WnD Teams for unnecessary situation and communicate for any potential delay the loading process
  • Make coordination with trucking/truck to send the full container to the port timely.
  • Make sure that operation team has loaded the cargo based on the loading plan through verification process with the system (WMS/PS3).
  • Provide container data which need to extend closing time port and follow up to the carrier and SCM/ Area WnD Teams confirm proof of delivery.
  • Create daily Dispatch report, weekly summary loading plan report and exception report.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • At least three to five years of experience within the Warehousing field.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good planning skills and the ability to work under pressure.
