About US:
ACCESS – African Community Center for Social Sustainability is a community based organization which was established in 2003 in Nakaseke district- greater Luwero triangle. ACCESS provides a comprehensive model of health care services, education and economic empowerment programs. Among the various programs operational at ACCESS, there is a focus on providing education & training in health and other related fields for the community of Luwero sub region, Uganda, East Africa & Africa as a whole. It’s upon this background that ACCESS School of Nursing & Midwifery was established.
ACCESS School of Nursing and Midwifery – Nakaseke is located on ACCESS compound in Nakaseke. The school aims at producing competent Nurses and Midwives that are able to function independently and within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing safe, sensitive, ethical care meeting the physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural and religious needs of people and their families.
ACCESS School of Nursing & Midwifery is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of clinical instructors.
Nurse Clinical instructors and Midwifery clinical Instructor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in nursing or midwifery from a recognized university or institution.
- Diploma in nursing or Diploma in midwifery from a recognized institution.
- At least one year in classroom teaching from a recognized nursing and midwifery training school, fresh graduates both for tutors and clinical instructors can apply.
- Current practicing license from Uganda Nurses and Midwives council
- Should be available to work on fulltime basis, though part timers can also apply.
- Should possess a national identity card
