Job Summary: The Supervisor Cash Centre will ensure and implement operational controls as well as ensuring seamless processing and excellent service delivery in Cash Management Unit whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal controls.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure dual control on all cash transactions.
- Ensure that the bank is safeguarded against loss and frauds.
- Ensure adequate and excellent record keeping is maintained.
- Timely preparation of all the necessary documentation for all cash transactions e.g., Swift messages to BOU
- Participate in counting and verification of cash from branches, BOU or other agencies.
- Monthly preparation and reconciliation of CIT schedules versus CIT service invoices billed to the bank.
- Facilitate and assist in cash knowledge dissemination to bank staff, across the branch network.
- Report branch cash positions daily for proper planning
- Ensure proper working condition of all Unit equipments i.e. Note Counters, Coin Wrapper, Strapping machines etc
- Represent the bank as a cash agent in all cash transaction e.g inter-bank and BOU
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
- Professional Qualifications in Banking
- Masters Degree
- At least two years of related work experience
