About US:

Last Mile Health (LMH) partners with governments to design and refine community health policies and systems, upskill the community health workforce, and demonstrate effective community-based primary care to sustain responsive and resilient community health systems and improve health equity and outcomes in rural and remote communities.

 

Job Summary:  The Curriculum Coordinator will work with the global and country teams to support the development of training/education content including course build out, training content development, revision of content, and implementation of training, as part of the team’s effort to build out a three-year country strategy. They will also upload content onto the Ministry of Health (MOH) Capacity Building Application, ensure quality of training for health workers, and work with the program team to track and rollout training with the MOH. The Curriculum Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Education Director.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support development of training content as needed by MOH
  • Proofread content
  • Upload training content onto the MOH Capacity Building Application
  • Convert training content to images, visuals, and other learning aids for Ugandan audiences
  • Coordinate quality assurance for all training content and any trainings rolled out by LMH in Uganda




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with designing training programs, including education learning visual aids*
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and ability to collaborate with and provide technical support to internal teams*
  • Prior facilitation or training experience with a range of stakeholders across geographies and cultural contexts*
  • Strong English writing and editing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to a wide variety of audiences*
  • Experience collaborating with others to design curricula and trainings
  • Experience in instructional design and educational methodology
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Dynamic, loves challenges, interested in quality and effective education, innovative and willing to learn, always has the interests of the learners at the forefront of work and processes
