Job Title:  Procurement Officer

Duty Station:  Kampala, Uganda

ETG’s supply chains extend across sub-Saharan Africa, North America, Europe, the Middle East and South East Asian countries. The Group’s supply chain penetrates deep into remote agricultural regions where we procure commodities from smallholder farmers through our strategically located centers. The commodities are then accumulated at ETG warehouses and/or transported to processing facilities, prior to
reaching our customers.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Coffee sourcing and purchasing/ procurement, cupping and engage with Agents & Suppliers for procurement of coffee and other coffee-related activities pertaining to procurement.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Degree or Diploma in Procurement and Logistics
  • At least three years of experience in coffee procurement.
  • Must have knowledge in all types of coffee i.e. Arabica & Robusta Quality.
  • in-depth knowledge of Coffee growing areas.
  • Must have knowledge of coffee extension programs from UCDA and basic knowledge in sustainable coffee programs.
