Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Package Manager with the coordination of the Industrial Area detail design within EPC Contractor premises.
- Prepare and coordinate ad-hoc studies that may be required for the development of the CPF in parallel of the Enabling Infrastructure, Drilling and offsite activities.
- Assist the Package Manager with the preparation of the detail design periodic reports and liaise with Enabling Infrastructure, Offsites, Drilling Package Managers to ensure that detail design reporting is consistently reflected in the overall Company report(s)
- On request, assist Package Managers with the preparation, evaluation and award of specific “call for tenders” for ad-hoc studies and/or Purchase Orders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the TOTAL Industrial Area Project Engineer Camps, Support Base job placement must have nine years of oil & gas experience (Industry graduate program engineer or relevant experience) with significant relevant multi-discipline engineering experience in EP industry is required to provide the necessary overview of the business, with experience in planning or project engineering.
- Strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial skills.
- A good experience in planning, budgeting and managing interfaces.
- Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
- Conversant with International, group engineering standards, as well as HSE standards.
- Good communication skills and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
