Agency Sales Manager Job at Capital Radio Ltd in Uganda

Capital Radio Ltd. requires a self driven, dynamic and ambitious Agency Sales Manager.
Capital Radio Ltd. owns two radio stations, Capital FM and Beat FM in Uganda and has media interests elsewhere in East Africa.
The Agency Sales Manager will be a super achiever, with a basic knowledge of the advertising and media industry. He/She will have attention to detail, and also a successful track record in Sales and Marketing or Client Relations/Account handling from the Agency perspective. He/She will have the ability to continually achieve monthly Agency Sales targets. The successful candidate will need to exhibit outstanding team relationship and people skills both internally as well as externally.
The Agency Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales, Capital Radio Limited.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • In addition, the Agency Sales Manager will oversee and ensure that all Client campaigns are running on schedule and will provide weekly sales reports, insights and evaluations.
  • He/She will be key in building excellent relationships across all Agencies that should translate into additional business or new accounts.
  • He/She will also be required to conceptualize, present, sell and co-ordinate media and promotion proposals.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • The candidate should ideally be 25 to 30 years of age.
  • A first degree is desirable in Social Sciences or Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing option. Diploma holders who have specialized qualifications from recognized institutions in Marketing/ Advertising, Sales or Public Relations may also apply.
