Job Title: Fuel Manager

Our Client Linksoft is a company that deals with infrastructure maintenance, civil works and other technical activities and is seeking to recruit a result driven and motivated individual for the vacancy above;

Job profile: To maximize efficient use of fuel across the fleet/network, by driving analysis and implementation of fuel conservation and efficiency initiatives to meet budget fuel saving targets.To provide an internal and external company focus for fuel saving initiatives, fuel utilization data and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Program Management

·         Ensure operational focus on daily fuel delivery and consumption
·         Liaise with the client in regards to fuel policies, reporting and delivery.
·         Act as focal within company for fuel saving
·         Deliver communication to all concerned parties to increase fuel efficiency awareness across the network
·         Respond to queries raised with urgency and efficiency
·         Represent the company in all fuel related meetings with the client
·         Maintain data and compliance monitoring for fuel delivered at site and used by staff
·         Ensure all fuel policy issues are agreed by Fleet Management, field operations and finance prior to implementation
·         Develop strong working relationships with other areas within company at all levels as well as key external stakeholders in order to achieve fuel saving initiatives
2. Financial Management
·         Key involvement in setting budget fuel saving target
·         Drive the delivery of initiatives to achieve the budgeted fuel saving target
·         Coordinate cost/benefit analysis of fuel efficiency initiatives
3. Data Management
·         Monitor day to day fuel delivery to sites
·         Collect day to day information from field technicians on fuel delivery
·         Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly fuel data
·         Critically analyze all fuel data and submit to the respective people/client.
·         Perform monthly office fuel Performance Monitoring and determine appropriate changes to decrement level for recommendation to Fleet Management
·         Maintain integrity and accuracy in data collection and delivery
·         Perform fuel analysis comparisons to determine reasons for unexpected discrepancies
·         Monthly analysis of extra fuel uplifted by fleet for field technicians
·         Analysis of potential fuel savings for new initiatives
Skills and Abilities
·         3+ years of experience with solid job history.
·         Experience with fuel management
·         Ability to express oneself clearly and directly in writing and in discussions with all types of individuals.
·         Excellent computer, organization, and time management skills.
·         Self-initiative and the ability to work well independently.
·         Natural analytical skills.
Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related preferred..
·         Understanding of basic accounting.
·         Technical background
·         At least 2 years in the same field preferably in a management position
