“The American Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Human Resources Clerk.”
Note: All applicants who are not family members of USG employees officially assigned to post and under Chief of Mission authority must be residing in country and have the required work and/or residency permits to be eligible for consideration.

Basic Function of Position
Incumbent provides personnel support to the HR section in duties including clerical, administrative support and records management in connection with processing of personnel actions. Incumbent reports to the Human Resources Specialist (HRS) and a member of a section consisting of the American HR Officer (HRO), 3HR Assistants, HR Office Assistant and an HR clerk.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Note: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1. Education required: Completion of secondary school (both “O” and “A” levels) is required.
2. Work Experience: Two years of clerical or administrative work in a busy office is required.
3. Language Requirement: Level II English ability is required.
4. Knowledge: Must have good working knowledge of general office procedures and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
5. Skills: Must have typing skill at level II (30-35wpm). Ability to use personal computers and other office equipment such as fax machines, shredders, scanner and copy machine is required.
