Regional Health Services Manager Job at PACE in Uganda
Duty Stations: 1. PACE Northern Regional Office (1 position) 2. PACE South Western Regional Office (1 position)
Job summary: Provide technical assistance, oversee coordination and implementation of the PACE health programs at the region to ensure the attainment of all program targets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Implement strategies to achieve health impact against set target.
· Supervise and monitor the implementation of all PACE health programs in the region.
· Manage the regional technical health team through on job training, motivation and staff development.
· Identify and recruit relevant partners for PACE programs and provide of technical assistance including training, capacity building and, communications campaigns development.
· Establish and maintain a franchise network of clinics in the region to ensure set standards & targets are being met.
· Main linkages and collaboration among district local government, NGOs and CBOs services providers.
· Conduct regular support supervision to all PACE program areas ensuring that expected standards are maintained including conducting quality checks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
· Management of forecasting, distribution, accountability of the health commodities and IEC materials in region.
· Develop and provide program department with monthly and quarterly work plans budgets and reports and feedback based on field experience.
· Supervise team of RH coordinator and CMC.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in health related field and /or 3 years relevant experience maybe considered
· Technical expertise and functional knowledge in RH, HIV, Malaria and child survival.
· Valid registration with relevant medical regulatory body.
· 2-3 years management experience.
· Strong understanding of health services preferably in the NGO sector in Uganda.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs will be an advantage.

· Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
· Set high standards for quality of work and consistently achieves project.
· Ability to translate strategic direction into plans and objectives.
· Valid national driving permit with demonstrated ability drive is an added advantage.
· Demonstrated ability to work well on a team as well as individually.
