Job Purpose:
· To deputize and assist the Medical Director in the clinical issues and in the oversight of the overall Hospital administrative issues as may be delegated.
· To be primarily responsible for Quality Assurance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Management and overall in charge of Clinical Departments.
· Take part in conducting the hiring of personnel both medical and non-medical.
· Ensure the credentialing of medical practitioners is consistent with policy and legislative provisions.
· Management and oversight role of clinical education programs, monitoring CMES schedules.
· Will continue to work in a clinical capacity in his/her area of specialty to keep abreast with new emerging medical technologies, procedures and processes.
· Such other duties as may be laid down from time to time by the Medical Director.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· M.MED or Suitable equivalent Post Graduate management qualification
· Applicants must have proven experience with a minimum of 5 years’
significant experience in Management and Administrative roles at a senior
management level in a medium to large sized organization. Past experience working in hospital in similar capacity best suited.

· Ability to work under pressure or to meet tight deadlines and manage own workload with minimum supervision.
· Good communication skills both written and Oral, report writing and presentation skills and high level of computer literacy.
· Well-developed excellent managerial, leadership and good organizational skills.
· Ability to assume the responsibilities independently with minimal technical supervision.
· Good interpersonal skills and good conflict management skills.
