Job Summary: The Assistant Credit Officer will
collect all due debts and operate an up to date and accurate record system of
all debtors for ease of collection.

Key Result Areas:
- Maintain
accurate records on all debtors and reconciles all amounts to maintain an
up to date record at all times. - Ensure
regular and timely distribution of invoices to operators, tenants and
other clients/ debtors. - Distribute
statements to customers ensuring delivery and receipt at correct
addresses. - Follow
up payments and remittances to the banks and ensure receipts on all
amounts from debtors. - Refer
all bad debts to Accounting Officer – Debt Management to ensure collection
of the unpaid dues. - Prepare
reports of all collections made and outstanding balances to provide
accurate information for decision making.
Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor
of Commerce (Hons) or Bachelor of
Business Administration with an Accounting option from a recognised
and professional qualification with a minimum of a certificate stage of
ACCA OR Level 1 of CPA(K) or CPA(U). - Two
(2) years working experience debt management, finance or accounting work
in a reputable organisation. - Working
knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and computerised
accounting.
