• Establish, maintain and coordinate the
  effective implementation of compliant accounting and accounting control
  procedures for the preparation and provision of monthly, quarterly and
  annual financial reports to management and statutory agencies as per
  international Accounting Standards and hospital’s policies and procedures.
• Offer support to management decision
  making via preparation, analysis and presentation of comprehensive,
  timely, reliable and compliant financial reports; analysis of expenditure
  and revenue trends and recommendation of appropriate budget levels.
• Lead, train and mentor accounting support
  staff for continuous improvement of department and its capacity to meet
  hospital’s financial objectives.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash receipts
  and prepare payments for judicious settlement of approved outstanding
  obligations (internal and external) and provide proper evidence to support
  all expenditures including forensic audit of all transactions.
• Perform any other duties and participate
  in other activities as directed by management.

• The ideal candidate will be mature and
  ethical with at least three to four years of a broad accounting
  background, a degree in accounting or finance and professional
  qualifications (CPA and/or ACCA).
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP package in
  a healthcare setting would be an added advantage.
