About TILLC:
Tulane International (TILLC) is
a wholly owned subsidiary of Tulane University, a US-based tertiary education
institution. TILLC has been present in Uganda since 1998. TILLC seeks
candidates for office operations support and for a number of management,
technical and consultant positions for anticipated programs in Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The
    candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in statistics, demographics,
    public policy, international development, economics, or related field;
  • Two
    years field experience in program design and development, program
    monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building;
  • Experience
    developing and refining data collection tools;
  • Experience
    with data quality assessment and oversight;
  • Strong
    interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Good
    organizational and time management skills;
  • The
    job holder should be willing to spend up to 80% of time in field;
  • Excellent
    written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Computer
    literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Word processing, PowerPoint, Database,
    Spreadsheet and graphics presentations (including one or more of the
    following programs: Excel, Access Epi Info, SPSS);
  • Residents
    of Gulu preferred.
