About ICPAU:
ICPAU is the national professional accountancy body in Uganda, established by The Accountants Act. It has the legal mandate to:
- Regulate and maintain the standard of Accountancy in Uganda.
- Prescribe and regulate the conduct of accountants in Uganda.
- Conduct professional accountancy examinations in Uganda.
Job Summary: The Assistant Relations Officer –Front Office will be responsible for managing the reception, handling incoming/ outgoing communication, and assist in handling members’ and students’ affairs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To handle telecommunications, enquiries and guests.
- To manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- To assist in the promotion of the image of the Institute to all stakeholders.
- To assist in building and maintaining relationships with the Institute’s stakeholders.
- To assist in the promotion the Institute’s programmes and activities.
- To carry out any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Bachelors’ degree in Secretarial Studies, Communication, Social Studies, or Business Studies.
- Experience will be considered but is not essential.
- Skills in Office management; supervisory; and negotiation.
- All candidates should exhibit visionary, courteous, self-driven, energetic and commitment
- They should also possess high degrees of integrity who can bring expertise in their fields.
- Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; and resourceful team builders/players.
- Good analytical and problem–solving skills.
- Be creative, innovative and sensitive to quality.
