Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct
administrative issues, process payments, review accountabilities to
facilitate Youth Centre activities - Do
bank reconciliation, receive and bank all revenues generated from the
centre accounts - Prepare
financial reports and posting all financial transactions of the Youth Center
into Navision - Support
the budgeting process at the Center and consolidate master budget for the
Center. - Ensure
proper filing of all finance and accounting documents - Perform
and other duties as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should possess a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business
Administration (Accounting) - Two
or more years accounting experience with proficiency in the use of
Navision. - Knowledge
of principles and practices of general, fund and NGO accounting. - Knowledge
of budgeting laws and ordinances relating to the realm of financial
administration more so of donor funded agencies. - Knowledge
of best practices in petty cash management, business data processing
particularly processing accounting and financial information and
maintenance of donor records.
