Job Summary: The Asset
Verification Officer will work within the network capital investment program,
support the program development and execution teams by verifying, throughout
implementation and up to pre-commissioning of the assets, that the objectives
of each individual project are being met.

Responsibilities:

- Do systematic verification of projects to
ensure adherence to initial objectives and designs, specifications and
execution plans - Verify that projects deliver planned
performance and outputs to time, budget commitments and quality
specifications - Verify physical existence of assets in compliance
with documentary evidence - Advise on compliance and non-compliance with
objectives. - Perform any other duties as assigned by
supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills
and Experience:

- The candidate should hold a Degree in
Electrical Engineering - At least three years in a similar position,
preferably in a utility or a business with similar range and complexity - Good working knowledge of distribution network
assets and their construction methodology - Good communication skills and experience of
interacting with senior engineering, finance and supporting functions - Experience in power utility companies is
preferable. - Possess a high level of integrity
- Capacity for intelligent evaluation of
documentation - The candidate should be a good communicator.
