Job Summary: The Mechanic will
primarily maintain, test and repair petrol & diesel engines and the
mechanical components of heavy and lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions,
final drives, suspension, steering and brakes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant
    should possess a good diploma in Vehicle Mechanics or Vehicle Mechanic
    Craft – Part 2
  • Professional
    trade test certificate part 3 is a mandatory requirement
  • Five or
    more years’ experience in the same field in a large and reputable company
  • Excellent
    Conflict management skills
  • Good Problem
    solving skills
  • Good judgment
    and decision making skills
  • Stress
    tolerant and able to work under harsh conditions
  • Good
    communication skills both oral and written
  • Possess
    the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Be
    willing to work after normal working hours & public holidays
  • High degree
    of integrity, team oriented and good interpersonal skills
