Consultants is recruiting on behalf of its client, one of Uganda’s biggest
HIV care and treatment provider.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop M&E plans
    and systems for new project and business initiatives in liaison with
    grants and business development staff or task forces.  
  • Ensure progress
    reporting satisfies the needs of stakeholders.
  • Carry out field-based
    M&E activities to backup the desk reviews and other office-based
    M&E actions.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The Grants Monitoring
    Officer should ideally possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences,
    Economics or Statistics. 
  • Possession of a Master’s
    Degree in Population studies, Development Studies, Social work or Public
    Health
  • Possession of a Post-graduate
    training in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
  • At least five years’
    work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, 2 of which are in writing
    high quality Programme level reports.
  • Three or more years’
    experience at middle management level
  • Prior experience in
    dealing with donor reporting.
  • Demonstrable
    experience in designing and use of M&E tools, data analysis, data
    quality assessments and data use
  • Excellent Communication
    skills
  • Good presentation

  • Excellent skills in Networking
    and partnerships
  • Good planning and
    organising skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem
    solving skills
  • Good computer
    literacy skills i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft office
