• Determine
  re-order points and maximum stock levels in conjunction with users
• Monitor
  stock usage of critical spares and materials and notify user / procurement
  when stock balances run low.
• Carry out
  stock reconciliation of the company stock at least twice a year and
  promptly investigate and resolve stock variances
• Maintain
  the inventory management system.
• Prepare
  monthly reports of stock receipts and issues
• Provide
  stores information to management as and when required
• Submit
  monthly stock reports to finance for monthly reporting.
• Identify,
  group and capture all new stock items on the accounting system
• Receive
  and accurately record item deliveries to the company stores.
• Update
  users and procurement department on status of deliveries made on a daily
  basis
• Oversee the
  duties of the store man as per the company guidelines.
• Review
  and Implement safe maintenance and good storekeeping procedures in line
  with the set company standards.
• Control
  access to the store and ensure safe custody of all company stocks as per
  the set company standards.
• Optimize
  the stacking of items to effectively use the available storage space.
• Ensure
  proper stock identification especially the hazardous materials.
• Perform
  any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial
  Accountant

• The
  applicant must possess five or more years’ experience in a similar role
  from an Industrial environment.
• The
  Stores Supervisor will possess a good bachelor of Procurement and Supplies
  Management Degree or its equivalent.
• Additional
  professional qualifications e.g. CIPS is a must
