subsidiary of Kjaer Group (founded in Denmark in 1962). Being a member of the
Kjaer Group of companies we are represented in more than 23 countries in Africa
and have been operating on the continent since 1977. Motorcare leads the way in
supplying transport solutions. As the authorised distributor of Nissan vehicles
and Suzuki motorcycles, we provide full sales and after sales support within
Uganda. Today,  Motorcare Uganda is the
official distributor of Nissan vehicles and Suzuki motorcycles. From 1st May
2006, we are very proud to also have assumed the sole distributorship for BMW
in Uganda.
Job Summary: The Sales Manager is primarily
responsible for the Sales and Marketing team. The job holder should develop and
implement the sales and marketing strategies to maintain and drive business
growth with focus on creating and developing the brand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive and
    grow the Company Sales & Marketing Strategy.
  • Design,
    implement and facilitates annual sales & marketing plan for the
    company.
  • Operationally
    support, manage performance and motivate the Sales and Marketing team to
    deliver the annual Sales and Marketing plan.
  • Build
    strategic and close relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Establish
    a culture of learning and development within Sales & Marketing.
  • Communicate
    strategy, business plan and best practice for the department.
  • Plan and
    administer the company’s sales & marketing budget.
  • Managing
    the market for sold brands of Nissan vehicles, BMW and Suzuki motorcycles
    and any other brands that may come on board
  • Attending
    to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer
    satisfaction is obtained.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    successful candidate must have a Degree in Sales and Marketing/Business or
    related field. A post graduate or professional qualification is an added
    advantage.
  • At least
    five years’ operational experience in a variety of Sales and Marketing
    roles at Managerial Level.
  • Possess exceptional
    problem solving skills, proven track record with regards to achieving
    results, excellent communication & interpersonal skills and People
    management & team leadership
  • Possess
    the ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure.
  • Possess a
    high degree of integrity and flexibility.
