Architectural Sector, specializing in Commercial, Institutional, and High-Rise
Residential and Mixed-Use Projects. We are seeking a fully-qualified Architect
who is proficient in developing creative architectural solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Possess the ability to collaborate with
the Design Team, Project Architects, Associates and Partners, and
co-ordinate through Construction Management with Client Representatives,
and Co-Consultants. - Managing projects through construction
including responding to inquiries and coordinating with Contractors, and
Trades - Familiar with all aspects of Construction
Administration including responding to queries, verifying Site Conditions,
completing Job Reports, reviewing progress draws, issuing Deficiency
Reports and Certificates of Completion, etc. - Actively train, mentor and cultivate a
highly skilled Design Team from your experience in working with Applicable
Building Codes, Governing Authorities, and knowledge of varied and
specialized Building Materials and Methods. - Function as a key resource for technical
questions, ability to be the firm’s representative to oversee the on-site
demands and actively problem solve through the construction of the
projects. - Responsible for the coordination and
oversight of the [ construction documents and in charge of the in-house
staff that produces the construction documents. - Coordinate with all the different
consultants that are a part of the project: structural engineers,
mechanical engineers, civil engineers. Ensures that all the requirements
of the project are put into the drawings and that all the different team
members are aware of any changes that may occur during the design and
production phases. - Embody a full understanding of
Architectural Design in both AutoCAD and REVIT. - Project Management; i.e. responsible for
everything that involves the project. - Maintains property rentals by advertising
and filling vacancies; negotiating and enforcing leases; maintaining and
securing premises. - Establishes rental rate by surveying local
rental rates; calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit
goals. - Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies;
obtaining referrals from current tenants; explaining advantages of
location and services; showing units. - Contracts with tenants by negotiating
leases; collecting security deposit. - Accomplishes financial objectives by
collecting rents; paying .bills; forecasting requirements; preparing an
annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating
corrective action. - Maintains property by investigating and
resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting
vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations; contracting with
landscaping and snow removal services. - Maintains building systems by contracting
for maintenance sen/ices; supervising repairs. - Secures property by contracting with
security patrol serviced installing and maintaining security devices;
establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures;
responding to emergencies. - Enforces occupancy policies and procedures
by confronting violators. - Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing,
and summarizing data and trends. - Updates job knowledge by participating in
educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
personal networks; participating in professional organizations. - Accomplishes organization goals by
accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - Manage a variety of number of projects at
various stages of work, while directing team members at all levels of
contract administration. - Plan layouts of projects and integrates
engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should ideally possess a Bachelor’s
degree and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture - The applicant must be a registered
Architect with over 10 years industry experience, and specific experience
within the particular focus area of the practice. - Possess extensive experience in
Architecture with emphasis on - Project Management and Construction
Administration with a variety of projects including high-rise residential
and mixed-use projects. i - Five or more years of successful
experience leading and managing people in a team-based environment. - Possess the ability to apply advanced
mathematical concepts such as exponents, geometry, and equations - Requires proficiency in the application of
architectural design standards, practices, techniques and concepts. - Proficiency in CAD, ArchiCAD and other PC
software packages typically associated with architectural design is also
required. The ability to make presentations to clients and experience
working with clients and stakeholders is a must.
