Job Summary: The Learning & Development Specialist
will support the Talent Manager in designing and facilitating the
implementation of Umeme’s corporate training plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Take
    lead in Umeme’s organization-wide training needs analysis to identify
    organizational learning opportunities and consult with the business on
    suitable learning solutions.
  • Design,
    plan and implement blended learning solutions aligned to Umeme’s organizational
    strategy.
  • Plan,
    source and co-ordinate Training Programmes and Courses.
  • Design
    and implement formative and summative training assessments with a feedback
    mechanism incorporated for managers, participants and facilitators.
  • Develop
    and implement apprenticeship programs and experiences that will groom
    lower-level employees for executive positions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Umeme Learning & Development Specialist must
    have an extensive in- depth and breadth of knowledge, skills and
    experience in delivering, evaluating and implementing organizational wide
    training solutions
  • The
    jobholder must also possess a basic Human Resource Degree or a degree in a
    related discipline.
