Job Summary: The Finance Assistant will mainly be responsible for the verification, accounting and reconciliation of sales/ collection / refunds /ACMs/ADMs etc from all accredited agents selling on different platforms like BSP/ Cargo GSA, using different method of payments that includes cash/card/invoice. It includes daily customer updates in Accounts receivables module in oracle finance , reconcile, set off, credit monitor, Credit card chargeback monitoring, etc in line with QR policies and Internal Accounting Procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for accounting of journal vouchers, receipts, and sales etc. as per Internal Accounting Policies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal Qatar Airways should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and Commerce from a recognized university.
  • Additional professional qualification in accounting (ACCA or CPA)
  • At least two years’ accounting experience in a similar capacity with a good working knowledge of operational and financial procedures.
  • Past exposure and experience in any major ERP (preferable Oracle).
  • Proven working knowledge with spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and be of unquestionable integrity.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English is required.
