• Actively participate in
  Air/Land/Sea freighting and customs clearing operations
• Make sure that all
  materials cleared by the Customs are promptly delivered to the
  reception/warehouse without delay and follow up on clearing agents.
• Work in collaboration with
  relevant local and foreign authorities for the provision of stacking spaces
  prior to the arrival of cargo
• Liaise effectively with
  government agencies (e.g. Customs) in the effort to secure relevant
  permits, approvals and shipping documentation for the Freight Forwarding
  function
• Participate in the
  management of main freight forwarding contract
• Ensure that all customs
  clearing transactions are properly documented for easy accessibility
  during material and personal effects shipping
• Arrange, direct and
  supervise local transportation of materials across company locations and
  assist Technical Logistics to ensure that guidelines on the deliveries of
  Local Purchases of Materials are enforced
• Ensure of the conformity
  of packaging as required.
• Ensure an efficient
  container and truck tracking system with all parties

• The most ideal candidate
  should hold a degree in Procurement/ Logistics degree or a related
  discipline.
• At least two to three years’
  experience in handling cargo and freight forwarding.
• Excellent freight
  forwarding background (2-3 years’ experience)
• Computer literacy skills
  i.e. proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communications
  and interpersonal skills
