About US:
The Ministry Of Health has received funding to implement the Uganda Sanitation Fund Programme which will play key roles in realizing its institutional mandate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Support the Sub grantees in preparation of workplans and budgets
  • Technically support field activities of sub-grantees
  • Monitor and support sub-grantee activities
  • Quality assurance of work outputs of the sub grantees
  • Responsible for verification of results
  • Support Sub-grantees: conduct capacity building of lower local government level.
  • Participate in the review of sub-grantee proposals
  • Actively participate in detailed capacity needs assessment
  • Conduct capacity building of sub-grantees to meet the skill requirements for programme implementation and management.
  • Compile and send progressive reports
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Assistants.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ambitious candidate should be a holder of a Bachelors’ degree in environmental health sciences, engineering, social sciences, project planning and management or other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of local government systems and planning processes and field experience in the WASH sector are required.
