About InterAid:
InterAid Uganda is a national humanitarian NGO engaging in humanitarian
and development work in both the urban and rural communities in Uganda. In
partnership with UNHCR and OPM, InterAid is in the process of establishing a
multi- sectoral programme in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement.
Job Summary: The Water Field
Officer will be responsible for setting up an early water alert system at water
points in cases of breakdowns, devise ways of improving the water at community
level by preventing major contamination by unsafe water and poor hygiene
practices.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for this job
    opportunity should hold a diploma in Water Engineering or its equivalent
    from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of three (3) years or more
    working experience in a similar field
  • Ability to ride is an added advantage.
  • Possess the ability to speak Swahili and
    Acholi is desirable
