Job Summary:  The Education Specialist – Inspection (ESI) will be primarily responsible for all education inspection programmes for PEAS Uganda and its Network of schools across the country. This position is strategic in nature and includes a wide range of responsibilities ranging from planning and implementation of school inspections for PEAS Uganda network schools, communication and enforcement of PEAS network regulations, ensuring all PEAS schools students are assessed regularly and making progress.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Post graduate Training in Education Management.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Education management is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in secondary school inspections work
  • Past exposure and experience of leading the delivery of quality secondary education at a whole-school level or through an education program
  • Experience of developing and implementing professional inspection methods specific to education
  • Possess willingness to travel and spend time in challenging environments.
