Job Summary: The Education
Specialists will work in tandem with a cluster of PEAS schools to drive school
improvement through support for teachers and school leadership. The jobholders will
be involved in teacher training, support for new policy/programme interventions;
analyzing school progress and helping school leaders implement School
Inspection recommendations and School Improvement plan targets.

The incumbents will also technically
support the central PEAS-Uganda Education Department by designing and
delivering regional teacher and school leader training and supporting the
follow-up of training in schools and classrooms.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal PEAS UK candidates must be qualified teachers who hold bachelor’s degrees
or masters in an Education related field) - Prior
teaching experience mandatory - Excellent
communication skills (written and oral) - Excellent
team work skills - Past
exposure and experience training education professionals - Experience
living and working in a developing country an advantage
