Job Summary: The IT Project Management Office Specialist will
work in consultation with the Manager, IT planning and Projects to ensure
effective management of all IT projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Assist
in the development of project plans for IT project.
·        
Monitor
the implementation of all projects against the project plans.
·        
Assist
in identifying reasons for delays in projects and planning activities to
overcome these.
·        
Assist
in identifying risks / escalated problems throughout the project cycle.
·        
Assist
in the execution of a solutions life-cycle environment of testing, development,
and staging/QA.
·        
Monitor
and track capital expenditure/operating expenditure budget for IT projects.
·        
Monitor
project progress and ensure regular project status reporting.
·        
Assist
in ensuring all changes to ongoing IT project comply with approved standards
and policies.
·        
Assist
in implementing recommendations of the internal audit function relating to IT
policies, standards and guidelines.
·        
Liaise
with relevant unit/ team/function in carrying out all relevant activities.
·        
Attend
team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
·        
Prepare/compile
agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager,
IT planning and Projects.
·        
Perform
any other duties as assigned by the Manager, IT planning and Projects
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
applicant should hold a first degree or its equivalent in a relevant
discipline.
·        
At
least two years’ experience in a similar role.
