Duty Station:  Arua, Uganda
About JMS:
Joint Medical Stores (JMS) is a church founded private not-for-profit
organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and
related health care services of assured quality to the people of Uganda at
affordable prices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Promote Joint Medical Store products and
    services in the assigned territory.
  • Implement promotional plans for JMS
    products and services Recruit new customers for JMS and implement
    initiatives to retain them
  • Carry out effective and targeted market
    intelligence, explore new business opportunities and recommend initiatives
    to address them.
  • Carry-out customer surveys and market
    analysis, and submit informative reports to immediate supervisor.
  • Organize and attend promotional events,
    exhibitions and presentations Qualifications and experience
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Business Administration with a bias in marketing or related
    field.
  • Possession of professional qualification
    CIM will be an added
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in
    sales & marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods
  • Computer literacy skills including
    experience in use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Proven experience in customer and market
    research relevant product and industrial knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and
    well-developed Oral and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize work load, use
    initiative, work as part of a team Demonstrated analytical and problem
    solving ability
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity.
  • Valid class B driving license
