Dfcu bank is a fast growing commercial bank offering a variety of

Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) of the United Kingdom and the
Government of Uganda through the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) under the
name of Development Finance Company of Uganda Limited. Later restructuring
brought in DEG (of Germany) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) as
equal partners with CDC and UDC, each having a 25% stake in the company. Its objective
was to support long-term development projects whose financing needs and risk

Job Summary: The Head of E-Banking will mainly be responsible
for the growth of the transactional Banking business via e-solutions to meet
the dynamic needs of various customer segments and achieve the Bank’s strategic
objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the e-Banking strategy to
achieve the Bank’s strategic
objectives - Deliver e-Banking products to customers in
the most efficient and cost
effective manner - Grow the e-Banking customer base and grow market
share - Identify and evaluate new and diverse
market growth opportunities through market research - Review and maintain existing e-Banking
relationships - Make sure that there is adequate pricing
of e-Banking products at all times - Direct and support e-Banking sales
- Provide after sales support to maintain
and grow e-Banking relationships - Assist in the development of e-Banking
solutions to meet current and future customer needs - Provide excellent customer service to
e-Banking customers within agreed Service Level Agreements - Ensure the maintenance of operational
efficiency and a risk and control framework within operational procedures and
guidelines - Offer professional advice and support to
internal users on e-Banking products - Manage, train and grow the e-Banking team
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Economics - Good knowledge and understanding of
e-Banking solutions - Project Management skills / training
- Good business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of banking products,
services, channels, operations, and processes - Past exposure and experience with core
banking systems and ICT exposure - Excellent presentation & interpersonal
skills
