Job Summary: The incumbent will oversee the day to-day-business operations and implement the company business plans effectively. The position offers a unique opportunity for a capable individual to contribute to the growth and profitability of a robust organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement the business plan, and be responsible for achieving the set targets, business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy consistent with company objectives and market needs.
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the market issues and business awareness. Establish and strengthen relationships with business partners and customers.
  • Monitor, develop and build-in efficiencies into various channels of distribution.
  • Actively monitor and build-in efficiencies into the various departments to achieve business objectives. Build and maintain a team of skilled staff and provide leadership and direction to the team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should possess a good Bachelor’s Degree, Post graduate qualification is an added advantage
  • Fifteen or more years’ experience in the insurance industry with at least 5 years in a senior management level
  • Technical knowledge in general insurance including underwriting, claims and reinsurance.
  • Strong business development skills, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Past exposure and experience of managing people, projects and client/partner relationships
