development organisation affiliated to SOS Children’s Villages International, a
worldwide child care organisation, currently running Children’s Villages and
other projects in 135 countries around the world. SOS has been working in Uganda
since 1991, and runs Children’s Villages and other projects at Kakiri, Entebbe
(Abaita Ababiri), Gulu and in Fort Portal – Kabarole district.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The Teachers should hold diplomas in
primary education from a recognized Institution. - The applicants for Upper primary MUST have
experience in teaching Mathematics and English in Doth Upper and middle
Primary classes for a minimum of three years - The applicants for lower primary teaching
MUST exhibit experience in teaching Mathematics, Literacy 1, art &
technology in lower primary classes for a minimum of three years. - Ability to teach Luo/Acholi is an added
advantage. - Possess excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. - He/she should be youthful, display
interest in children’s educational matters & their general
development. Should be able to guide slow learners for successful results. - Skills/experience in music, games &
sports, teaching computer, teaching home economics, leadership of clubs
like scouting or any other vibrant primary school co-curricular activity
is an added - Willingness to stay and work in Gulu.
- The applicants should be mature gentlemen
or ladies aged 25-30 years
