Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible
for the day-to-day management of a large team of field sales representatives
with functions covering sales strategy development and execution, performance
monitoring, sales reporting, agent recruiting and training in conjunction with
the HR Manager.

- Responsible for the planning,
recruitment, direction, organization and control of field sales
representatives to accomplish specified sales objectives - In charge of monitoring the
performance of the sales representatives by establishing a system of
reports and communications involving sales reports, and team meetings - Ensure that all sales
representatives work in accordance with selling guidelines and principles
prescribed by the Company - Provide high standards of
ongoing training for sales representatives to equip them with sufficient
knowledge to present information on the company’s products accurately - Spend considerable periods of
time in the field, to drive the field sales team

Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must
possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field - A minimum of five or more
years working experience in field sales is required but outstanding
candidates with other exceptional management experience will be required. - The candidates must be
interested in sales and possess the drive to manage and motivate a large
sales team - Past micro-finance or
insurance sales experience is a plus - Computer literacy i.e. strong
Microsoft Excel Skills are required - Fluent written and spoken
English and Luganda essential - Other local languages
