Job Summary: The
World Vision Design Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will offer technical
support in survey, research, project design, monitoring and evaluation and TDI
measurement processes as well as developing other tools for improved quality of
ministry in different World Vision Uganda supported programmes.
World Vision Design Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will offer technical
support in survey, research, project design, monitoring and evaluation and TDI
measurement processes as well as developing other tools for improved quality of
ministry in different World Vision Uganda supported programmes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop
and administer performance-monitoring tools to track program indicators in
line with the program implementation plan - Collect
and process data on program activities as specified in the detail program
implementation plan - Compile
progress reports for management purposes in line with the detail program
implementation plan, World Vision Uganda and donor requirements. - Offer
technical support to the program staff, beneficiaries and other
stakeholders on program performance monitoring and evaluation according to
program implementation plan, World Vision evaluation strategy and donor
requirements. - Plan
for and implement program impact assessments and evaluations in line with
the program implementation plan, World Vision Uganda evaluation strategy
and donor regulations. - Plan
for and implement program evaluation recommendation in line World Vision
Uganda evaluation strategy and donor regulations - The
incumbent will also plan for and implement program planning and review
meetings in line with the program detail implementation plan. - Develop,
implement and maintain program management information system in line with
the program detail program implementation plan and World Vision Uganda
regulation. - Offer
technical support during proposal writing for resource mobilization in
line with World Vision Uganda mission
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should possess a University degree in a development
discipline. Possession of a Post graduate qualification in monitoring and
Evaluation. Additional Master’s Degree in any development field is an
added advantage. - At least five years field experience in
research, management, monitoring and evaluation of community-based
projects. - Past exposure and experience gained
within World Vision would be an advantage. - Ability to work in a team and be
prepared to lead and train subordinates - Commitment to World Vision Core Values
and Vision Statement - A mature and committed Christian, able
to stand above denominational diversities
