Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for its valuable client, Uganda Batteries
Limited (UBL). NFT Human Resource Solutions are customer tailored per industry
requirements and are geared towards increased cost savings, process improvement
leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously
strengthening quality and control of resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible
    for developing and implementing marketing and sales plans to meet volume
    and sales promotion objectives.
  • Manage
    key customers particularly institutions, schools, ICDs, Fleet companies,
    Logistics firms multi nationals, NGOs etc. 
    by monitoring buying patterns and ensuring that such customers are
    effectively served.
  • Conducting
    physical market surveys and effective 
    market monitoring  including
    checking out on displays for ICD’s, stocks available in the institutions
    and advise them on stocking appropriate battery quantities and types.
  • Checking
    new product demands on the market and possible other applications.
  • In
    charge of promoting the company’s products through effective distribution
    of information and advertising materials.
  • Conduct
    market research and organize benchmark enquiries and customer satisfaction
    surveys; ascertaining what the market is like in terms of size,
    competitors and product designs, know who the potential customers, their
    behaviors, measure of satisfaction and after sales service where possible.
  • Guide
    the company on the potential bids/ tenders.
  • Support
    in prequalification documentation and ensure timely submission.
  • Attend
    pre bid meetings on behalf of the company.
  • Making
    reports on sales mix, field information, customer needs, preferences,
    problems, new events, vehicles, and competition etc.
  • Create
    a database of all organizations/ institutions who pose as potential
    customers and those already buying our products and their fleets/ vehicle
    specifications.
  • Keeping
    a good relationship with customers to increase referral business.
  • Collecting
    payments after sales/ debt collection
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Sales
    Volumes, target fulfillment actual Vis a Vis planned
  • Submitted
    performance returns
  • Reports
    on new competitor products, usage, customer responses, satisfaction
    levels, performance gaps etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Marketing Executive vacancy should hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration and or
    related.
  • Possession
    of professional qualification i.e. CIMA is an added advantage
  • A
    minimum of two or more years’ experience in direct marketing/sales
