• Develop
  the operational plan for the region/ sector given
• Responsible
  for market development: establish and maintain relationships with key
  partners linking them to biogas construction enterprises.
• Implement
  the agreed upon models in building effective distribution channels and
  effectively share and manage accounts with other actors in the sector.
• Conduct
  Trainer of Trainees and other extension models in Bio-slurry management
  among coffee farmers.
• Actively
  contribute to the promotion of use of biogas and extension services and
  capacity development for extension/advisory services among households.
• Perform
  other related duties in support of the growth of the biogas sector
  development as may be required

• The
  Field Officer should hold Bachelor’s degrees i.e. BA in any of the fields;
  Community Development, Agriculture or Agribusiness Management
• Three
  or more years of relevant working experience in business development,
  sales and marketing, in rural communities, is an added advantage but not a
  pre requisite.
• Past
  experience in Agriculture Extension and Training
• Relationships
  with large agriculture cooperatives and/or financial institutions a plus.
• Willingness
  to intensively travel in the area of operation.
• Possess
  the ability to ride a motorcycle and having a valid permit.
