International Medical Link
(IML), a registered Health Management Organization (HMO) that offers medical
insurance, operates medical clinics, links clients to medical specialists both
locally and abroad, fumigation services and wellness clinics.
Job Summary:  The
Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for co-ordinating and controlling the
activities of the laboratory in the health centre
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Ensuring
    quality, accurate and consistent results are generated within 20 minutes
    for the simple primary health care tests
  • Cordially
    attend to customer issues and resolve customer complaints in a timely
    manner
  • Investigate
    any complaint arising in the lab and give feedback to the Head Doctor in
    less than 24 hours
  • Ensure
    appropriate stock levels versus tests done and functioning of machines
    once a week.
  • Ensure
    that all technologists in the health centre laboratory key in the test
    results into the system in less than 24hours

    of Laboratory performance result
  • Customer
    satisfaction rating
  • Test
    results are keyed into the computer
  • Provide
    Leadership for the unit
  • Laboratory
    duty rota
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    Laboratory Assistant should hold relevant University Education, and professional
    qualification
  • At
    least two years of appropriate experiences in the management of a
    laboratory and functions
  • ICT
    competency
  • Proof
    of licensing /registration
  • Good
    people skills and a team player.
  • Pleasant
    personality, achievement orientation
