Job Summary: The Head of Sales will be a commercially
experienced individual with a proven ability to establish and manage national
sales and marketing, including the recruitment and management of direct sales

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Steer and execute sales growth to 52,500
devices, 4 Area Sales Managers, 34 Service Centers and 70,000 customers by
end of 2015. - Oversee all marketing planning and
execution including both below-the-line and above-the-line materials and
campaigns. - Responsibility for management of country
marketing and sales budget and KPIs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The incumbent should hold a related field,
such as business administration, telecommunications or marketing. - At least five to ten years of senior
experience in a related commercial field: financial services, mobile-money
or other commission based product in Uganda. - Proven ability to build and manage a
network of field offices and regional representatives, with support
functions, in a comparable industry. - Capacity to innovate, creating new
processes and structures for distribution. - Ability to manage inventory and stock
across multiple regions. - Ability to lead planning and execution for
national BTL and ATL marketing. - Working knowledge of the local business
environment, particularly in financial services, mobile money or telecoms
industries. - Ability to build and manage relations at
all levels i.e. within a fast growing startup company and with small
retail entrepreneurs in rural areas. - English and Luganda fluency.
