• The incumbent manages the Plan, directs,
  or coordinates purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting,
  customer service, or planning services.
• Quickly resolve problems concerning
  transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Mentor and supervise logistics personnel
  and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
• Create policies or procedures for
  logistics activities.
• Develop methods and procedures for
  scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support manufacturing in
  achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts to UBL
• Develop and maintain transportation system
  on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and
  contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Plan or implement material flow management
  systems to meet production requirements.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process
  documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
• Actively motivate, organize and encourage
  teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

• The ideal candidate should possess a
  bachelor’s degree qualification in Business Administration,
  Transportation, Logistics and / or Supply Chain Management
• Four or more years’ experience in customer
  service and logistics environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and
  organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
  skills
• Proven ability to think independently and
  handle multiple projects through to completion
• Record of successfully collaborating with
  and influencing senior management and peers
• Proven ability to lead and manage staff
• Demonstrated independent work initiative,
  sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor
• Able to perform financial calculations and
  create and manage budgets
