Job Summary: The Data Manager will be responsible for the successful
execution of strategic data management projects- implementing and maintaining a
data management framework (including policies and procedures) that ensures the
integrity of data for the entire organization and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- In
charge of the cleaning and streamlining of operational and financial data
and processes in the organization, specifically in the following areas:
benefits, employer payments and registration, employee registration, trial
balance, legacy records, contribution records including arrears, un-posted
contributions, batches and e- statements. - Establish
and execute Data quality assurance standards, which include end-to-end
process and data quality framework for decision making. - In
charge of providing data definitions, establishing quality expectations
and ensuring compliance to those expectations - Identify
and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data
management systems, processes and standards - Implement
controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data
quality - Develop
and implement Data Integrity (Dl) strategies and managing data integrity
processes to ensure alignment to the Fund’s overall goals and objectives - Manage
the implementation of recommendations from the data quality team. - Ensure
the member statement queries are handled as per the agreed standards - The
incumbent will manage the resolution of DI issues through work plans and
activities to deliver pre cleaning and post cleaning objectives - Oversee
capacity planning in terms of resources and staffing - Actively
monitor and track efficiency of operations and financial IT processes by
monitoring outputs and reviewing feedback from all users. - Ensure
that all contribution statements for members are cleaned in anticipation
of benefit payments claims. - In
charge of managing the performance of DMU staff and conducting performance
appraisals as per the Fund’s performance management procedures. - In
charge of coordinating leave rosters of DMU staff across - In
charge of coaching and mentoring staff on any changes in operational
process and supervise their performance on the same. - Responsible
for budgeting - Prepare
periodic reports and analyses. - Actively
propose and Liaise with IT for enhancement of systems and solving of Dl
issues - Significantly
contribute to learning, mentoring and development of staff. - Represent
the section in IT related projects/or other organizational committees as
and when called upon. - Represent
the section and attend relevant meeting of the organization. - Investigate
and research on issues that can cause Dl issues.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or any other relevant
numerical or IT Degree. - Possession
of a relevant professional or post graduate qualification will be of added
advantage - At
least five years working experience including 2 years at supervisory
level. - Strategic

the ability to work under minimum supervision and as part of a team - Ability
to work under pressure, adapt to change and meet deadlines in a fast paced
